We have a Rangemaster 90cm Professional with a ceramic hob. I cannot recommend the ceramic hob as it just doesn't get hot enough or cuts out when it's getting hot. The oven is ok and better than the hob but again not worth shouting about, though it may be worth buying with a gas or induction hob.
Falcon cookers and a couple of French brands would be better, or even better a seperate hob/oven system so you are not married to the same unit or manufacturer.

thanks not considered falcon before but reviews are good, we are after duel fuel & this fits the bill. bit more pricey than I wanted to pay but worth it hopefully in the long run.

    Thanks all, appreciate feedback.

They do look good. unfortunately I found I was cleaning more than once a day due to it looking dusty all the time, but maybe it was just the make I had then.

Our cream Rangemaster elan dual fuel had a black shiny gas hob that was easy to clean (now we have the electric, halogen hob version also in cream so that isn't an issue anyway), but a few years back we did have a different Rangemaster model that had a black textured-type finish on the gas hob which was a total pig to clean - it picked up every bit of dust/fluff in the atmosphere (we have three long-haired cats :o) - and we didn't keep it long at all ;) In future I would always ensure the model I was buying had shiny, easy to clean surfaces........

Rangemaster 110 Induction (which ever model appeals, we didn't want glass doors as you can then see how dirty the oven is :)). We just think the induction hob is marvellous.

I'll second this. We have a black range cooker and it also looks dusty all the time. I'd go for cream or similar if I was buying again.

I would have gone for the more brushed look and avoid the glossy thinking it would be worse so glad you passed on that bit of info

FYI the Liesure cookmaster ranges are actually made by Beko.

We have one and its not very good.
  • I have a Rangemaster 90 Professional, electric oven & gas hob & cannot praise it highly enough. I have the brushed steel & brushed? black top. Always looks & performs fantastically, & is really easy to clean. I tend to use the right (smaller oven) side as storage unless we have guests & then I find the extra oven is a godsend

On my search (quite a while back now) my main criteria was a separate grill (there is nothing worse than burned in fat being heated on the grill element), oh & I wanted a gas hob.
