JSA office / DWP tel numbers say closed til new year..

no idea when first payment due in bank..

I got a text from Jobcentre on xmas eve, to say JSA was 'awarded', no dates though.

My next signing date is 7 Jan..

I would say 3working days after 24th Dec 13 then, but would be aware of payments that were late on Christmas eve as there was 'Admin Error' in the system.

A lot of people are getting paid today because of the error

I would check your bank account

If you are really stuck then ask for help at your local council, they can give your food bank vouchers and help gas/electric

I did initial appointment, a few days after onlinr claim started, for them to check paperwork etc, and 1st signing all in one..
