Thanks for my number, due to an inheritance this year I did become debtfree. My belief is I got myself into this mess so its upto me to get out of this mess. I used the £6000 to pay off my debt so now I need to save that amount when I have then I will truly believe I am debtfree. The money can then go into a long term savings account. Looking forward to the journey.xx

Can I join too please? My total to pay off will be £6500 by next Christmas (or quite possibly earlier but I won't push myself!) Was doing quite well and then it all went to pot...I don't even know why, but I desperately need to get back on track asap!

  • :j Helloooooo!! :j

Thank you for setting up the New thread :T - the 2013 thread was brilliant for getting me through those finishing posts a whole month early! You lot have been super support!!

Right so, being quite attached to this challenge, I hope that I can join with a savings goal?

There are a number of things that I need to save towards and pay for throughout the whole year and also to include some savings to take through into 2015 (wow, can't believe i'm even thinking that far ahead! ) So I figured it would be easier on this challenge to put all of my savings goals into one lump sum to make it easier to track on this challenge.

Sooooo please can I set my 'Savings' by Xmas 2014 Goal to: £7000 (Gulp) please? :)
