Hello,
I was wondering if there was any way of finding funds which specifically invest in certain sectors, ie Healthcare, Communications, mining?
Thanks in advance

Yes. There are many sector funds. Most are in the Specialist sector so you can search within that.
Some examples here

Trustnet (http://www.trustnet.com) and Morningstar also support sector research. http://www.morningstar.co.uk/uk/fundquickrank/default.aspx

It should be noted that focused specialist funds are generally regarded as very high risk and would normally form only a small part of an overall portfolio.
Techs, mining/natural resources, financials etc have all had extreme volatility and significant losses beyond the wider market in recent times. If you are just trying to extend a bit of exposure in a certain area then that is what the funds are for. However, if you intend to go into them in a large way then you really need to consider the risk you are taking.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
