I have read many times that the
correspondence address isn't always the same as the address you are living at.
Which circumstances is this possible? true?
can you give some examples to clarify what that means?
-especially in correspondance to Experian/equifax (that CR agencies)
cheers.

Sometimes it's not practical to get mail where you live.
For example, in a shared property, where there is no good method of mail handling in a secure manner, it may be more convenient and safe to have the mail delivered to your parents, or to a PO box.0 -
I just answered a question on our website about problems caused by multiple addresses, which may help. As long as you provide all relevant addresses (where have have either lived or corresponded from) over the past six years then lenders should find all of your data.

If the first address is a longer amount of years than the second address added..then can the first oNe be used for future credit (loans) ? Or would the lender see that this is not their last addressNo Unapproved or Personal links in signatures please - FT30

A lender will want all addresses from the last 6 years - no gaps as they will raise a red flag.
Why all these obscure questions?
It's simple - tell them where you've lived / been registered on voters roll in the last 6 years - why is that so difficult to understand?:hello:0 -
My correspondence address (a RM PO Box) has been rented by me for 32 years.
I am unsure where the Experian Rep gets his i formation from as his company refuse point blank to provide any file information to this address, or where it links to0 -
I don't think we can run a credit check at a PO Box address and I doubt any lenders would be registering data there anyway. If you are experiencing difficulties because of a PO Box address please send us details so we can try to help.
Thanks

But if you want to change an address with a lender (saving account at a bank) then will the bank allow this to be changed to a pobox address? No Unapproved or Personal links in signatures please - FT30 -

How about asking the bank?
Why do you need to use a PO Box?
There is obviously a difference between a correspondence address and a change of residential address. I would expect the bank to want to know and maintain an up to date knowledge of where you would be living as well as a correspondence address.
I've noticed that a lot of your posts are querying banking processes and ways around them - why?:hello:0
