Ridge Tiles Smashed Into Car

Hi
Ridge tiles have flown of of our roof and have smashed the back window of our car on the drive - double whammy.
Our current thoughts are to look at our insurance policies for house / car, contact them. Also considering options of contacting local repair men.
I was wondering if anyone has some alternative advice, or anything unforeseen - for example would there be a problem with two separate insurance companies involved?
Thanks.

Unless you have window cover which will not affect your no cliams forget the car insurance route. It will be cheaper to replace window yourself. Same with ridge tile if you have an excess to pay more than £100.Ask me no questions, and I'll tell you no lies0
