  • I would panic with the rice... haven't you got to be careful with it, as it is one of the main culprits for food poisoning???

Spag Bal with jacket potato or pasta shapes ( instead of spaghetti) would be good,

Could you rope any of your friends into help? If,say three friends, made a hot dish, that would help enormously? Or ask if they would make a pudding?
  • What about a huge cheese and potato pie, can be made in advanced and reheated on the day.

you cannot go wrong with chilli and a curry

Good luck and hope you have a wonderful day x

    it relates to keeping hot/cooling/reheating
In the OPs case I would just be batch cooking on the day and serving hot from cooking.

What abut making up some satay/kebabs on skewers?
not everyone will want the likes of stews

If the venue facilities aren't brilliant, have a word with your local scouts?

And, as other posters have suggested, ask friends & family to help - it'll lower your costs & add to the fun!

Got a 50layer thick parcel to pass? [one headline per year?!], & balloons & so on?! Have a wonderful party!

I know of someone who had fish and chips delivered by her local chippy for her sons 21st birthday. The chippy did a good deal.x

    Happy Birthday.x
