Die Cutting Machine Help
Options
Good day all and I hope you all had a lovely festive period.
I'm after some help as my lovely mother got me a Die cutting machine for christmas (Spellbinder Grand Calibur). I'm new to it all and was just wondering what I needed to get me going aswell as where the best place is to get die cuts and embossing folders (at a nice price!). The only thing I got was the machine.
any help would be lovely...thank you!

I would have a look at the sales and see if any of the E Folders and dies on offer catch your eye. I don't know whether it's ok to mention specific shops on here but I would have a look around online.Use your stuff challenge 50/500

When you get some dies for it remember that the best cutting pressure is along the sides not in the centre!! Try to get some of the labels type as well as the fancy shapes, you can use almost any thin dies in the GC and embossing folders up to A4, but you will need a special plate for them, they sell the large raspberry plate or a cheaper alternative is the Universal one, which costs about a tenner and can be used with the GC.
I had one for years until I accidentally broke it!! Tried to run two sheets of card through, they were stuck together and I thought there was only 1 sheet... I broke some of the teeth off one of the internal cogs. My sister however, knew someone who could and did repair it and she is going to use it from now on!!0
