Sticking glass picture to wall

I've just had a glass splashback made with an image on it. I was under the impression that the image was sandwitched between a couple of glass layers, but it's just stuck on the rear of the glass.
It is/was my intention to stick it to the wall but i'm concerned that whatever adhesive i use may leach through into the image and may not be strong enough. The company i bought it from states that it can be fitted using low modulus silicone or mirror mastic which i queried in an e-mail but have had no reply.
I'm thinking that the safest bet would be to drill a few holes in it (which i have never done with glass) and screw it to the wall. This is not however my favoured option. Any ideas?

You need to use mirror adhesive.
It's designed not to pull the silvering / backing off of mirrors and is ideal for splats backs.
Screwfix sell it.

Still not worked out yet how to turn off auto correct? Unless there's a new name for splash backs of course.

Many thanks for the suggestions, and i'm going to down the mirror adhesive route and making a tiled support flush with the top of the cooker.0
