I've had a sony vaio SVE1513D1E laptop for 9 months and had no problems until Saturday 21st December, it crashed gave me a blue screen with this message
A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
Kernel_Data_Inpage_Error
Now every time i go on the laptop after about 10 minutes the curser keeps getting stuck and then the whole page freezes, i tried to do a system restore but it gets stuck on that too.
Can anyone help please.

A similar thing happened to me around 3 months ago. You could try their helpline (might be open tomorrow). I didn't as it happened to me at the weekend and I needed the laptop for work, so I just used the recovery discs to restore the laptop to factory settings and then reinstalled all my programs (which took hours so I now have a backup computer which I can use immediately if the same thing happens again).0
