Well...I have sold over £100 worth of stuff on Facebook today. On the downside, nobody has turned up to collect so far! Grrr, it really annoys me when people just don't turn up for things they have arranged to collect!!!0

Well 1 person turned up for Facebook items today, so that is £70 into the budget.
I have set myself a budget of £200 for shopping this month, although I would ideally like to spend less than that. Have spent £10.05 in home bargains today, mainly on loo roll and toiletries, plus £1 on milk in Iceland. Shouldn't need to go shopping now until the weekend.0 -
Worked until 3 today. Paid a cheque for £55 into the bank which is money a friend owed us. Today has been a NSD.
Nothing else has sold on Facebook yet.0 -
£7.52 spent in home bargains today, bringing total so far this month to £18.57. All spends so far have been necessary, but keeping track of the little spends shows how it adds up so quickly!
On the plus side I think another Facebook item has sold so that's an extra £40.0 -
Weekly shop done today. Spent £39.90 in Aldi. That includes a few sneaky treats and a nice box of ice creams for ds & dd as they have done so well in school this week.
Total so far this month is £58.47. I need to average £50. A week to stay within budget this month, but as this weeks shop included a few essentials for the new house, the next few weeks should be slightly less and should balance out overall.
It's lovely and warm here today so have got the washing out on the line to dry and am having a sneaky coffee in the garden whilst everyone else is out of the house. Bliss!0 -
Been working today and it has been a NSD.
Day off with the children tomorrow and I really want to make the most of my time off with them as it will all get a bit hectic when I go back to uni next week. Am hoping it will be another NSD but am not sure what we will do yet. Maybe some baking? Could also start making some jam with the fruit we have picked and maybe a walk to the orchard to pick some more berries if the weather is good.0 -
Not quite the NSD I had planned today. Ds has joined the local rugby team and needed some football boots for training. I was going to try and put off buying them for a couple of weeks, but he needs them so took him to get them today. On the plus side they were in the sale reduced to £10.
Went to the orchard and picked some more blackberries. Have used them already to make apple and blackberry jam to put away for Xmas gifts. Have already made some blackberry liqueur so am doing well with homemade gifts this year.0 -
£1.95 spent today on lunch, bread and gravy granules. Total so far this month is now £60.42.
Sold another Facebook item for £50.0 -
Been working in my voluntary job today.
All meals have been from stores and it has been a NSD.
Been berry picking again and have a little stash of berries in the freezer now.0 -
Weekly shop today was £40.12. Need to go to butcher to stock up. Will cost around £20 for enough meat to last til the end of the month. That brings the total so far this month to £120.55, leaving just under £80 to last til the end of the month. The should just about be do-able if I continue meal planning and taking shopping lists.0
