Only me OH and mum for Christmas day but my brother and his kids came today, all went well, phew, but I tried to make the Nigella vanilla cake in the Christmas tree tin yesterday for today - oh dear, not quite sure what I did but as I made it at about 6pm I had already taken a little drink! The cake was like a brick! Luckily that was the only disaster!2019, move forward with positivity! I am the opposite of Eyeore :rotfl:0

Let's just say that when you set the right temp on the range oven and throw in your fabulous Lidl three bird roast that it would be wise to put the meat in the oven you actually switched on, not the cold one next to it.
We had cook from frozen chicken fillets with all the gubbins and the 3-bird (cooked in the right oven!) today.MSE-ing since 20070
