Hey I bought myself some straighteners from boots a month ago for Xmas opened them tiday and they don't heat up at all.
I no longer have the receipt.
Would boots be able to trace my purchase through my boots reward point card do you think?
They were around 50 quid so a big waste if money if I can't get a replacement :0(

I think they could trace it through the card and would give you a replacement, but if you might have paid by card it would be worth checking as that would be a proper proof of purchase.0

Why not just go and buy another pair then wait a couple of days and return the other pair with your new receipt?0

If it's on the BOOTS card, then that would pretty much be proof of purchase. However, even if you hadn't used that, and still had no receipt; most stores, this time of year would give you store credit. Good luck

If goods are faulty, you do not need a receipt. Proof of purchase in law can take many forms, including having a witness to the purchase. The purchase should show up through a loyalty card too, so don't give up on this one.0

I disagree with this, especially if it's a sealed one, as it will scotch your chances of taking it back if it still doesn't work.Make £25 a day in April £0/£750 (March £584, February £602, January £883.66)
December £361.54, November £322.28, October £288.52, September £374.30, August £223.95, July £71.45, June £251.22, May£119.33, April £236.24, March £106.74, Feb £40.99, Jan £98.54) Total for 2017 - £2,495.100
