multi region dvd player

I have LG 620 OR LG 620N
is it possible to input a code to allow it to play region 1 ]usa] dvd,s
or what is the most reasonable multi region dvd player
advice appreciated

Amazon have a Toshiba SD101 player which can be made multiregional by entering a code for £23 ATM.

As for your current player, have you tried searching Google to see if a code is available?

Must have the DVD tray open and empty
Then press pause on the remote
Key in 3,1,4,1,5,9
In response to the screen prompting for region code, choose 0
Press Pause
Power Down
Wait 30 secs or so
Power up and it should be region free

thanks KING D316 housebound after major op. and noticed a few usa dvds of interest [ mainly book reader] also childrens dvds for grandchildren far cheaper. will order then convert....again thanks.

Also after you've unlocked the player, experiment with the picture format settings when playing R1 dvds.
My dvd player has PAL (uk), NTSC (US) and Multi.
With US dvds I can sometimes get a better picture using multi and not NTSC.
