Recommend me and MP3 or MP4 player

My non teccy sis has twisted her DH arm and she can have "an ipod" for her bday in Aug.

I have a creative zen micro which is great, but out dated. Very annoying that you have to go throughthe creative software to sync-I find it tricky
to find stuff as it list things differently etc. Used to use it with windows media and this was so easy, but it isn't supported anymore.

Would recommend creative as the quality, build and features are great, but I do find this a bit of a clay foot re software.

She is interested in a ipod as that is the only sort she has heard of:rotfl:

She can spend as much as she likes (he hasn't descovered money saving yet, even though they are supposed to be "broke" but I don't think they are really!).

She fancies an MP4 to put videos on to entertain her kids, butI guess that migh t not be good, as they are small and would fight over it...The downside with MP4 apart from cost is presumably size to allow screen?

Lastly I think she'll be like me and use it for ripped CDs that she already owns (wow has she a lot to learn as she doesn't even do that yet!) rather than direct purchased downloads.

If I were her DH she'd get a basic £20-30 2GB one till she sees if she gets on with it:rotfl: But he wouldn't be happy without spending££!

Would say get an ipod video, either the 30gb or the 80gb, the software is really easy and there are loads of accesories available

You could check out the archos family of players, personally I have the 604 and it is pretty good, it has a bigger screen than the ipod.

With the dvd docking station you can record / play through a scart input/output.

Work for me!
