The questions were worded poorly. They did tend to favour left responses.0

It's already banned in schools.
It is indeed yet another 'excellent' example of the Nanny State and pure baggage we are building. They forget that perfectly adequate 'child abuse' laws exist to cater for anything more than the occasional 'clip round the ear'. It's just that they get tired of using existing laws, and want something simpler and 'more wholesome' or 'civilised'.
We want fewer rather than more 'laws'. A good example is the recent ban on mobile phones in cars [except hands free]. What could be more simple than declaring [via judges rules] that using a mobile phone would be considered as "Driving Without Due Care and Attention"? But the brainless government adds this new law regardless, at great expense. Now they are going to have to follow the same recipe for everthing else.... e.g...- Reading your Kindle while driving?
- Flicking through the pages of your A to Z whilst driving?
- Having your girlfriend's head on your lap whilst driving?
- Reading a paperback while driving [millions of Americans do this].
- Sipping away at your double-shot Latte from Starbucks while driving.
- Playing I spy with your kids on a long journey.
- Replying to a text message on your laptop on the front seat.
- Jotting down a 'good point' raised by Paul Lewis on Money Box while driving.

My conclusion so far, from the scores given, is that we have too big a bunch of namby-pamby, socialist, libertarian, laissez-faire, leninist, egalitarian, Trotskyite, commie, spineless, wet pinkos around here.
Where is the right-thinking, Thatcherite, capitalist, bring-back-hanging lobby skulking?
This board needs a few more backbones!0
