LED Spots and DAB

Options
I don't use my Kitchen radio much (a Portal DAB 1) but it's often has no signal at all. I normally get good reception of BBC, Digital1 and HBB&Northants, but no longer seems to work.

Bought a Sainsbury's Colour DAB radio for £23 today - worked fine this morning - but when I've tried it this afternoon and evening - nothing.

Left it on manually tuned to the BBC (12B) to see if anything changed - when I left the kitchen and turned off the four LED spots - full reception restored. My old Portal radio also working.

Now I like the four spots I have in my small galley kitchen (about 28W compared 200W for normal GU10s) but they completely swamp the DAB reception or the chipset in the radios. grrrr.

Try a different brand of bulb? It sounds like the ones you have are Chinese dodgy imports. Homewatt is a good website I use. Also if you recess the bulbs into the ceiling you may be able to use foil or similar to shield them.
