Hi can anybody point me to a guide/software that explains how to burn a .mp4 file onto a dvd-r disk so it can play in a normal DVD player?

Youll need to convert it to FivX (if your player supports that) or VOB first will you not?
I dont know how many dvd players can read the MP4 container format,0 -
Yea i though i would have to convert it first
I tried with ImgBurn which i think tried to convert the file to a .iso which i then burnt to a blank disk but it did not work in the DVD player. It only works when i put the disk into the PC.
Is converting it to a .iso the wrong thing then, not sure if ImgBurn has the option for FivX or VOB?0 -

My burner of choice is AppGeeker DVD Creator. It's easy to use and can burn just every files onto DVD disc. Great little program -- I've been using it for years.0
