Can you screen shot the error? Has anything changed within the operating system that may have triggered the error? Software installs etc?

How do i screen shot the error?

Problem started when i tried to install a wireless router(now uninstalled at the mo).

Could not get into e-mail account, use passwords etc. In the end i done a system restore back to the start of this month, uninstalled firefox & reinstalled it but still the same.

When you installed the wireless router were you trying to connect wirelessly or through ethernet? Adding a router does not stop you browsing unless either the router is set up wrong or you are trying to go wireless and the signal is not good enough.
When you tried the router route did IE work?
If all else fails I would suggest unistalling FF, delete the install folder and reboot. Re-install it and see what happens.

Trying to connect wirelessly. It seemed to work ok, strong signal, but was not until we tried accessing e-mail ,msn or using sites where we had to put in passwords we noticed the problem. Would not work with IE either.

Sorry for being thick how do you delete the install folder.

Are you accessing email through the browser or through outlook/ outlook express etc? If it's through a browser it could be an issue on your firefox profile, if it's through Outlook/ express etc it could be an issue with your windows profile.
