    Right Click "My Computer"
    Choose "Properties"
    Select "Advanced"
    Click on "Settings" under "Start Up and Recovery"
    Select "Edit" and delete the second line stating an operating system (be careful to delete the right one, posting the results of clicking edit here would be a good idea)o
    r choose the operating sytem version you want to default to and untick the box giving options to display the operating system list.

    [boot loader]
    timeout=30
    default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS
    [operating systems]
    multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect
    multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition" /noexecute=optin /fastdetect

    Does it matter which one i delete, they both look the sane to me

    And do you know what partition your active Windows install is on? I take it you have a hard drive partitioned in 2 and have recently re-loaded windows?
