Be patient, they add more lines after Crimbo. I didn't buy from M&S last week for that very reason, although I was sorely tempted.Darn it,the shoes I wanted are not on sale. They had them 30% off on the week end but I wanted to wait until they went half price

I have just spent 25 minutes on the phone to M&S because I also had a message saying they could not deliver to my local store. I was rather confused by this as I was only ordering children socks and underwear. It would seem that M&S have consolidated their warehouse into one big one in Donnington, and as a result have reduced the number of stores they will deliver to. The woman told me that I should have been offered a free delivery code instead, and so she processed my order with free delivery. On the plus side, she did tell me that M&S were finally moving to a new website with real time stock information from February - welcome to the 21st century M&S!0

I complained yesterday by online message about having to pay home delivery charges for small items I ordered, even though it stated 'home'. They replied today and said they would refund on the two orders - if I supplied the order numbers. I have not heard about any refund yet - and it seems silly that they can't just check my account to see where they've incorrectly charged. Oh well, at least I have it in writing ......“Rain drops are not the ones who bring the clouds.”0 -

A customer returning goods within seven working days is entitled to a full refund and the initial delivery charge, under the Distance Selling Regulations. I have had to argue my case re this with M&S from time to time, but I always eventually have postage refunded.
