Yey it's the weekend!
We've had an exhausting couple of days - DS had a trip to the hospital as he had a fever. luckily it was nothing serious but we spent hours in hospital and most of yesterday recovering. I have been rewarded with a lie in.
hopefully back to normal today. DH is off to football this afternoon so it's just DS and I this afternoon. Here is my list for the weekend:
- washing - about three loads
- ironing
- baking to use up the last of the cranberries
- enjoy the sunshine with DS
- aim for a NSD
- meal plan
- lunch and dinner from stores (we may go out for lunch with the in laws tomorrow)
- pull out clothes for next age band and retire DS's 0-3 month outfits.
- 20 mins filing - the pile is massive so I am going to have to break it into chunks.
- write letter of complaint to bank
- bake a loaf of bread
- clear a shelf/drawer each day
- aim to get rid of 10 items per day
- list 5 things on ebay
- take DS out for a walk
- spend some time tidying bedroom
- update spending log with last 3 days expenditure
Better get up and on with my day! Hope you all have a good one.

Not a bad start. Was so sad moving the clothes around and retiring the newborn and 0-3 clothes. We've been so lucky with the clothes DS has been given we really don't need to buy him much at all which is very handy as we don't have very much money.
We're out tomorrow so won't get loads done but will try to get more done. Just off to do the dishes and then to bed.0 -
I wasn't able to tick off much else today - more washing done. We ended up having take away today so not a NSD either.
I haven't had time to ebay but I will spend some time this week preparing the items I've set aside. This will really help in my grand decluttering plans. I really do need to get rid of my crap.
We had a lovely day out visiting family today. My family is so important to me and seeIng them makes me realise how my son is the next generation. We met my great aunt and aunts today - four generations in one room. So lovely and to be cherished. I've really been wanting to do a family tree and it is even more important to me as I have been losing very important people im my life. I wwnt my son and other future children to know his family history from both sides.I'd love to learn more about how to record this.
I'm going to sneak off to bed to avoid Match of the Day!
Night

I really do not know where the time goes! I've been with DS all day today and just need some me time. I also have some paperwork to get sorted and DS never quite gives me enough time.
The last couple of days have been pretty uneventful. Spends have been pretty low yesterday was £1.50 and today was £6.05.
I have managed a few use-ups over the last couple of days
1) Toner
2) Deodrant
3) Shampoo
4) Bar of soap
Tomorrow I am out with a new mummy friend for a walk and either lunch or coffee. This comes out of my spends money.
In addition I will
1) bank my sealed pot
2) return some items by post for an exchange
3) post letter
4) write and send letter of complaint to bank.0 -
It doesn't feel like a productive day today. DS needs a lot of my attention so I don't get to do much on my list The result is nothing really gets done and DS doesn't get my full attention either. I don't know how the other mums do it!
I was meant to go for a walk into town with a new mummy friend but she couldn't make it. I decided I would go in anyway and managed to get my list above done. I also managed to take a bag to the charity shop and some glasses to the optician to go to a charity so they get re-used by someone who needs them. The charity bag had 6 items I identified this morning so I only need to identify 4 more to meet my target of 10 per day.
Dinner was from stores - pulses are so cheap and healthy! I do really need to increase my Intake of fruit and veg. As a vegetarian I am failing miserably!
DS is down for the night so I am going to chill out for a bit, express some milk, cat h up on some diaries/blogs and call my aunt to say hello. Then an early night - I know I always say it but I need to as I am really struggling to get up in the mornings now. I usually get my second wind now so I have to get to bed soon!
Night!

Don't beat yourself up for not getting things done.
Just enjoy the time with your DS

Thanks Beanie and Buffy!
Just finished pumping - free milk for DS!
I try not to get sucked into games. I have an addictive nature! DH is addicted to C*ndy Cru$h - I regularly tell him I plan to cite it as a contributing factor in our divorce when he fails to hear me. There are days when it must be life support - breathe in, breathe out!
I can feel that second wind coming so I am off to bed by 11.0 -
I failed miserably at getting to bed at 11. I'll give it a go again tonight. If at first you don't succeed...
Today I set up a new passbook account. I like passbooks because they are harder to access your money. I used to save into my e-savings account but it was easy to dip into it. I plan to use this to build up a small emergency fund of £500. I have started it with £12 from my sealed post I am going to round down my account to the nearest £5 every week. I will also add any cashback to this account.
I have also allocated £80 of my sealed pot to the boilder fund. I'm not sure how I am going to add to this - I think maybe through selling stuff on ebay. That would be a good incentive to get rid of some clutter;).
I ended up eating lunch in town - naughty I know but I was so hungry and knew I couldn't wait until I got home. So my total spend while out was £7. Sadly, DH also got hit with a penalty notice for driving in a bus lane grrrrrr! We are now £65 lighter. I am worried as DH has cut off that bit of the bus lane to get to the right lane since then so not sure if there are more letters to come.
Tomorrow I have a class with DS and then I am going to spend a voucher that runs out next week. I was given it be colleagues for my birthday last year. It's taken me a whole year to spend it as it is my birthday again next week. I have no idea what to get. I'll probably treat myself to a new outfit as my clothes are starting to get too loose - breastfeeding is a great weightloss tool!
Right - off to bed. Just before 11!0 -
have also failed on the early night front! last night and tonight! am sort of ranting at Question time.
Passbooks - I have those! and I also lose those!
Spent 8 hours looking for my ISA one so I could buy the car! madness!
hope you are in bed now!!
