Strange I thought Energy companies attempted to steal customers rather than give them away! 
I think these were the bad ones. Although according to 'You and Yours' today one of them wasn't even in debt!.

I must admit to agreeing with Sparks stance against serial debtors. If its in their T and Cs that they wont stand for energy thieves then I am all for it. Whilst landlords are allowed to rent to anyone off the street and give them what amounts to a few thousand pounds of free energy with no credit checks by using credit meters then there are people out there taking advantage. I know this to be true. Its standard practice now for some to get as much free energy as possible before the prepays are forceably fitted. This can easily take a couple of years or more before the locksmith gets in with PAYG meters0
