Hi everyone,
Not a great day with puss cat at vets.
He checked her over and was a bit concerned over her thyroid and wanted to take a blood sample. She had been really good and had let him take her temperature without complaint and look in her mouth. She sat so nicely while he shaved some hair from her throat and he actually commented on how amenable she was being today but the only blood that was taken was from the nurse's hand when my girl stuck her teeth in
I had taken her food away last night as I thought she may need to be sedated, depending on what he wanted to do, so he kept her there and did what he needed to.
He scanned her as well and found she's also got fluid in her abdomen so he took a sample of that too. It's a matter of waiting now for the test results but I was so hoping he'd say, 'Oh, it's only so and so' but it looks as though it might be somewhat more serious than we had hoped.
We picked her up this afternoon and she's just now eaten a tiny bit of chicken so at least she's had something to eat.
I'm just going to have to be patient until the results come back but it's horrible not knowing
It's really horrible weather here too, wet and windy.

So sorry to hear about your cat Walwin, I do hope that the results are good. If it is thyroid they usually give medicine as my cousins cat has it. Big hugs for you and hope you don't have to wait too long for the results to come back.
firefly it always puzzles me how the birds manage in the wind. Lottie nearly get took off he feet with it. When its really bad we put her on a lead even in the garden just in case.

Hope your cat will be OK walwin. Pets are as a big a worry as children.
Just been for a shower as I didn't have one this morning as Sis doesn't like cutting my hair when it has just been washed and I only have a dry cut. Hair is naturally wavey. Haven't had my hair this short for a while so it was so easy to wash.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
