Morning
I have finished work for the day, thank goodness. I had a long shift yesterday so glad I only had a morning one today. I had a win from Clippers advent, which I nearly lost as I didn't recieve the email but thankfully they resent it. I don't know what it is but it will be my first win of the year.
I put a cv into an agency friday and have an interview this friday. So that's 2 bits of good news today, and the day is only young..lol0 -
Morning all
Been out early this morning for a change, took advantage of a lift from OH to pop repeat prescription into GP then go to bank to pay in a cheque.
He was turning right at a T junction near the GPs and failed to notice another car coming from the left :eek::eek:, luckily both drivers going slow and only minor damage but wee fright for me.
Chap in other car was an insurance man so he took charge with all the detail swopping.
Bought some nice new Silentnight pillows, reduced from £9.99 to £3.99 in Ponden Mill, and came home to a delivery of my Hardys wine win from advents-only a case of 6 but mustn't grumble
Enjoyed all the glow in the dark pics from last night
Ever hopeful for some WEMs today0 -
lol, love the monkeys sheils
we both must have been thinking monkeys :D
Not really FF, I saw your great pic before I went to find one to post so when I saw the other one I couldn't resist!
Glad you have sorted all your torches and candles out Alfie - better to be prepared.
My sister cuts our hair Sylvia as she is a hairdresser but she doesn't do the fancy highlighting with foil which is annoying as I want mine done. DH has offered to pay for it to be done at Toni & Guy again thoughNo walk here as it is raining again.
Glad you are OK elle and hope the insurance sorts it all out quickly. Well done on the bargain pillows and getting your wine.
Postman brought the voucher for Jury Inn stay and it is for B&B which is good.
Just been on to Hol Inn Stoke saying as my win has to be taken by end Feb it would be good to have it and they have apologised and say they are sending out a voucher today valid until the end of April so got what I wanted really as I didn't want to go there soon.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Well the sun turned to rain and winds by the time we got back from shopping and some of my washing was off the line. I have lost one of my large cushion covers. Will have to wait until the neighbors come home from work to see if it is in there garden.
Glad you are home for the rest of the day Indie and good luck with the interview on Friday.
Sorry you bumped your car Ellemm and hope it doesn't cost too much to get it repaired.
I would love to have foils again as well Sheils but it cost so much to keep up with it thats the problem for me.
Love the pics today firefly and hope your zoo is all fed and watered without getting too wet.
Must get on now.
Sorry Wingo when I posted earlier forgot to say well done on your Sis and you winning at bingo last night.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -

Did get the washing nearly dry and get a walk this afternoon so quite pleased. Haven't quite finished the Dailies yet though only W and WO to do now I think and then the clickies.
Hope you get the cushion cover back Sylvia and glad the zoo are all fine FF.
Been trying to find some of DS3s music on iTunes as his iPod is playing up and he hasn't put anything on his phone yet. I find iTunes so difficult, mind you he doesn't help by not syncing stuff. He won't get a laptop either which doesn't help. Found quite a lot anyway on an old lappy which seemed to want to download new ones too. (Couldn't get it to work last time I tried but gave it a bang today and been working fine) My new lappy just has my stuff on it.
EDIT Forgot to say DH and I both won the Nat Trust Passes this month again from the Banrock Wine FB comp. Going to have fun going round their sites this summer.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Well done on the Nat Trust win Sheils, that will be very useful as you go around the country.
Fred got out the step ladders and checked over both of our neighbors fences then came back in and found them inside one of the blankets that had come off the line. Result.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0
