Thanks everyone, just got back, reduced air entry on one side so presume that means he has Bronchitis, they have given him antibiotics anyway so should sort it out now. Glad I went.
Its fess up time folks. Senior moment re the sandals I got from Brantano yesterday that I was moaning they had only given me 25% instead of 30%. Took them back but didn't go in as it clearly states in the window 25% so I didn't go in as didn't want to make an !!! of myself :rotfl::rotfl: The shop next door had a 30% sale :rotfl::rotfl:
Hope you are all enjoying your day. DD2 and family just coming for a cup of tea now instead of a meal to make it easier for us.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Hi Slyv,
So glad your hubby has been seen to and will be hopefully on the road to recovery! Don't worry about misreading the special offer as I do that all the time too! I was just in our Sainsburys Local yesterday and picked up some 4 pint milks costing £1 each and 2 packets of sweets that I thought had been reduced to 15p each so when the checkout assistant asked me £2.60, I said 'No, it should be £2.30 as the sweets are reduced to 15p each!' So we both went over and checked and I had read the label wrong - the sweets were reduced by 15p from 45p down to 30p. Ooops! I have done that a few times lately - I blame their misleading labels though!(or it is my eyes as I have just started to need glasses but rarely remember to wear them!)
Well fog cleared here by lunchtime but it is still a little cloudy but at least mild! Had a lovely lunch out with my mum but came back early as she looked shattered and needed a rest. She was looking after my younger brother's children from after school on Friday until late last night plus she had my four while I was at the hairdressers yesterday morning AND apparently my brother's youngest daughter had her up from 4am yesterday - so poor mum just looked tired! I think we sometimes forget that she is 65 years old and suffers from arthritis so babysitting so many young grand children all at once can tire her out very easily! Bless! At least she was spoilt today and will have a nice afternoon on the couch in peace!
Hope you have all had a good day - I don't feel too tired as I woke my usual time and so did the kids. I think it will hit the kids more tomorrow when I wake them up for school at 7am when it would really be 6am!I'll try and coax them to bed a little earlier this evening!

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:at Sylvia & Bella's mistakes with the discounts-have done it often myself!
Antibiotics should do the trick Sylvia, glad he got sorted.
I had a wee look at the new board a couple of weeks ago-didn't like it one bitShould venture over see if it has improved any.
Just made a nice batch of choc chip cookies, supposed to be for the kids on Saturday but have already "tested" several
Can sympathise with your Mum Bella, I find watching one 3 year old GD for a day hard going, but love it.0 -

I too am dreading the board changeover - I had a look a few weeks back and also wasn't keen. I am sure I will adapt when it does happen though, just as I did when changes were made to Twitter and Facebook. Though when the changes were made to Twitter and Facebook I had not had any notice and they happened so suddenly!!! I think it is worse when you are forewarned because the waiting is always the worst bit!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0

Ahh FF - let me know what the BirdEye Inspirations tastes like! I've seen the advert and keep meaning to buy some to try as they look so easy to make and would be lovely with new potatoes or a jacket potato! There are a few nice looking flavours in the range that I quite fancy too!
Glad you have had a nice day - the sun is just peeping through now (bit late mind you!) but I shall forgive her!
Ahhh my mam is lush! 12 grandchildren under 11 and she is always babysitting and taking them over to their holiday home in Scotland during school holidays! Her poor knees and wrists are bad at the moment and she also suffers from pain in one of her shoulders along with her diabetes. Bless her - yet she still bakes and does all sorts with the kids when they over staying!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -

Thank FF! Popped them on my list! I love fish! As you know, I live by the sea and my dad has always had a fishing boat and brought home fresh fishies! Nothing tastes better than fresh fish cooked within an hour of being caught! Ahhhh! When I was little I used to fish for 'flatties' from our dingy just yards from the shore on the Isle of Arran! Yeah!
Hee hee he looks just like my dad! He used to sing that song 'When the boat come in' to us all the time!
