We've also had huge hailstones today! Roll on summer! Wrap up warm sheils, it's freezing here if you're anywhere near here.
Great pics everyone
If anyone has the maltesers BGT promo packets it starts tomorrow so you can also win packets of maltesers or a bowl(I've got 6 packets here
I haven't eaten them all though!
)

Bella I'm not a great sleeper either I usually end up reading if I wake up and can't get back to sleep that usually makes my eyes heavy and drift of for another hour or two also have a small pillow on the bed that I use lavender on helps you relax0

Thanks for the advice Rose
I have tried lavender, I have lit lavender candles, slept with lavender sachets under my pillow, bathed in a lavender bubbly bath, bought relaxation cds, tried hot cocoa, I don't use my laptop for at least 30-40 mins before I settle down, I write lists so I know what I have on the next day, I have tried sleeping tablets, herbal remedies, I won made to measure curtains for my bedroom and they have a blackout lining.....I guess I am just one of those insomniacs where nothing can be done! I don't sleep through the day either but I do get to the stage of being so tired that I have one long night's sleep before it goes back to 5 hours! I do accept my problem - just get frustrated with myself at times!
Glad you are enjoying yourself Sheils with lovely walks!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -

Hi Sheils, glad you are having a good time and have had a nice evening meal. Did you have any pud??
Bella, you have about summed up my sleep situation as well. You have my sympathy. Don't think there is any real solution. Think some of my problem is I worry about everything and everybody, including my online friends when they have problems.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
lomaxsylvia wrote: »Yes, love their apple turnovers when they have just come out of the oven. Does your store have an fresh bakery thing like ours? We find their fresh meet is good, chicken pieces/pork chops etc and their whole chicken are good too. Also cheese and like their creamy pasta sauce too. We also use their own make coffee.
Yes we have the bakery too - haven't tried the turnovers yet! Love their croissants (especially the chocolate ones) and the bread rolls. Always shocked they're only 15p or so each
I agree with the meat - love their chicken thighs, and we had a pork joint for the first time for dinner tonight and that was lovely too. Also like the frozen meat they do. They do an amazing light version of camembert (wooden box, blue label) which is to die for - doesn't taste like a low cal option at all!
Bella - I suffer from insomnia sometimes, and the things I've found that helped me are (all used at the same time, apart from the Sleepio course, which is a daytime thing)...
Lush Twilight bubble bath (discontinued)
Lush Twilight bath bombs
The online weekly Sleepio course (sponsored by Boots - https://www.sleepio.com I think)
This Works sleep pillow spray
This Works sleep cream (rub thoroughly into tootsies)
Lavender oil roller ball (inside of wrists, nape of neck, temples, inner elbows)
I love frogs! We're thinking of making a little pond in our garden, as next door have one and they get lots of frogs. We get them in our garden and sitting on the doorstep. Such cuties
Sounds like you're having a wonderful time, Sheils, and yes - as Sylvia asked - full download on the pudding situation please!
We've just had some of my homemade salted caramel (and fruit and nuts) ice creamMy ice cream maker was one of the best presses hubby has ever bought me - it's a proper one, so I don't need to freeze the bowl etc. Makes it in about 45 minutes. Love it

Hopefully not too much of a late one for the poor old forum team, as we seem to be back up already... Maybe it's only temporary though as I'm sure they said they hoped to get us up by Monday AM0
