Sylvia, I received a Scotch Beef 'Oh so tasty' cloth shopping bag today too! Big isn't it! Also received a wem for a bouquet of flowers from bunches! So I am getting them sent to my mum's address for mother's day with a special message (lol will save me buying some as they are so expensive just now!) Yeah!

FF, I bet your lavender bags are gorgeous! I often make my own little bags to give as gifts or to pop in my underwear drawers. I buy pot pourri to fill them with as I am too scared to grow lavender in my garden - it attracts bees and I am petrified of those flying buzzing furry golf balls! swatting-fly-smiley-emoticon.gif I grow mint and sage though and a few different veg!

    Thanks FF!

I bet the elderly people love you! You are always so kind!

By the wind has really got up here and it is cold too! My dad doesn't think the ferry will be on for the Farne Islands this weekend with the strong winds so we are going to leave Sea Houses for a few weeks. If the weather looks ok tomorrow we may go for a walk around the big garden centre close to where we live - I love seeing the flowers there and it has a soft play and animals for the kids! And there is a lovely cafe where the lattes and scones are delicious!

Hi firefly, I have Rosemary & thyme coming through again as well and lavender. I also have an edible lavender as well but which you can use in cakes etc but never tried it just in case I poison someone. I would hate to get it mixed up.

Well done on the Scotch Beef bag as well Bells and yes its a lovely and big. Will definitely get that ferry some day soon, how much does it cost have you any idea?

We have a nice roast chicken dinner on the go here.
