The Comper's Inn (part 43)

I am watching James Martin's Food Map of Britain - he is in Scotland today and has just been visiting a lady who owns highland cows! I had to laugh as he seemed so nervous when up close to them
They really are lovely though it is a shame they go to the 'slaughter house' aged just 36 months! I I could never be a meat farmer!

FF, your tea sounds lovely! Yes I love that Highland dancing Highland coo! I was in fits when I posted it!
Glad you had a nice day! I have been out in the garden too as it got out really nice and sunny and felt so mild! I thought I would try and make the most of the good weather before it apparently changes tomorrow.
Enjoy your evening! I'm going to watch the soaps until 8, get the kids in bed then have a bath before settling down to watch Shetland, because I missed it last night!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -

Only ordered it the other day FF. Can't remember when it said it would be here. Couldn't resist it at £40.
Is this the one you and Sylva have?

Yes Sheils, thats the one as firefly says. Think you will like it. I just chuck anything in with a vegi stock cube and some herbs, salt & petter and it is never the same twice. I never follow a recipe at all. I always put it on smooth because thats what we like. It usually does us for two lunches.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0

Shetland was really good Bella!
DH and I had the leftover dauphinoise potatoes with grilled salmon and peas for dinner and DS3 had the leftover mushroom sauce with chicken and tagliatelle. DD went elsewhere for hers. Always leftovers when DS2 cooks but it wasn't wasted it was great to have it with different foods.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
