Yes, thanks for the tip Sylv! I am going to Morrisons tomorrow so have added 'free mag' to my list! My parents both love bread and butter pud and hot cross buns too so might make it for them as a treat!
Weird weather here too - bright and sunny one hour then dull and sudden showers the next! The forecast is saying snow for some parts over the weekend and our local news this lunchtime said that we should expect lots of midges around May as the mild and wet Winter along with this latest warm spell has made them breed! Ekkk hate those things!
WOW Jess - you have chickens yeah! I would love a flamingo!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -

I had budgies when I was little just like these!
Billy was blue and Joey was yellow!

Never had caged birds as i think cooping them up is a bit cruel. My grandad used to have a massive 2 storey aviary the full length of his garden and there were loads of birds in there.
Only things i had as pets when i was a kid was terrapins, slow worms, lizards, stick insects , mice and rats. Never did get my kitten or a scorpiion0 -
We did let our budgies fly round the living room in the evening
We had loads of pets when we were little including a big white rabbit called Thumper, who lived in a hutch and fenced off area of the garden, with a little black, brown and cream furry guinea pig called Pepper. My dad built a cute little ramp for Pepper to reach the hutch! We had lots of hamsters, budgies, cats, dogs, a pony, tortoise, tropical fish and a garden pond with carp, goldfish and frogs! I always wanted an angora goat but was never allowed one!
I'm not keen on scales and love fur! The fluffier the better too like this little pooch!

I fear a flamingo might mistake you for one of its own kind, Bella, in the pink feathery stiletto slippers.. :eek:0

LOL You are right Jess - if I had a male Flamingo he might want to hump me (if that is what flamingos do!?)
I do love anything furry or silky things though! My mum told me that when I was a toddler I would often put my hand behind her neck to feel her silk tag or under her skirt to feel her silk petty coat! I also had a pink fleecy comfort blanket with silk edging and I use to 'feel' it so much that I wore holes in it! Funny how things just stick! My sister was the complete opposite - a real tom boy then a goth and she now still only wears black or purple! She went out with a tattooist who had pet snakes - he was scary and so were his snakes - and luckily she is not with him any more!
I love furry animals though and love fur to wear (though not real!):TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0 -

I agree Sax - ducklings are so cute! I think those miniature piggies are cute too, though I have heard horror stories when so called miniature pigs have grown MASSIVE!:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea0
