Sun not out here FF but it is dry. Hoping to get the rest of my washing out anyway. Huge pile of ironing building up as it is though.

Morning all! Bright one here - yesterday we started off with fog, which is usual for the North east coast, but today it has been bright from early on!

I was quite pleased with myself yesterday as I got loads of washing done - all the bedding, clothes and towels and it all dried on the line too! Just one mishap - a seagull must have dropped a pressie and it landed on a towel so need to re-wash! Blast those gulls!


Today I am planning to tidy up around the garden as it is too nice to sit indoors but first a nice walk along the beach before it gets too busy!! Hope you all have a great day!!

PS Sax - I qualified as a Primary School Teacher and I specialised in the little 3-8 year olds! I have mostly taught in Reception and Year 1 but when I was living in Scotland for a few years, I taught Primary 1/2 Loved it!

I do love Sundays! Oh dear, my parents have just rang to say they have wind and rain again today on the Isle of Arran (where they remain stranded as the ferry was called off yesterday so couldn't return home!). Mum is really annoyed too as the Hull v Sunderland game is televised on ITV this afternoon BUT not in Scotland so they cannot watch it! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Shame your parents are stuck on Arran Bella. Remember all the snow they had last March though. We won tickets to visit on 1st April and they were still sorting things out. Would like to visit it again and stay next time.
Was really windy here yesterday.

It is a gorgeous little island and their holiday home is right on the beach - but if the weather is bad then the ferry is always called off! They have been stranded before (me too if I have been over). But at least they have their lovely cosy house so it not as if they are stuck in tents or in a caravan, as many often are over there! :eek:

We are lucky here on the North East coast as we never get the extreme weather but it also never gets really hot like down South or really wet and cold like many parts of Scotland - we seem to be just 'inbetween'!
