We have just had a pancake each. Kids ate most of the eggs while we were away so didn't have enough to make many!

Ahhh bless Sheils! Kids always seem to do that when parents are away - they eat but don't think of replacing! I always remember when my parents went on holiday and left my younger sister at home for the very first time - by then my two brothers and I had left home. Anyway, they came home to find their large freezer completely empty - all the frozen pizzas, frozen meals, packs of frozen fish fingers, fish fillets etc - all gone!??? And when they asked my sister where they had all gone, she replied'I threw them out mam, cos they were all months out of date!' EEK My parents were not happy! We still kid her over that!

We enjoyed our pancakes too but happy that it just lasts one day! I am so sick of hearing about and seeing pics of pancakes posted all over the web!

I would have been furious! All my kids know about food which is good though but they are so untidy.

Thanks FF would love another. I am looking forward to going back to Lancaster Hol Inn later in the month and having them for breakfast again.
