Hi,

Hope everyone had a good day. Feel like I have had a busy day. We picked DS2 up from railway station so that is him back from his adventures and looking for a job now. Lots of flood warnings about in this area so had to be fairly careful where we went. No floods in our town yet although still raining.

Sheils glad to hear DS2 is back home. Fingers crossed he finds a job.
Katie, you are keeping busy as usual. Good to hear you are doing well at Gym. Glad to hear your parents had a good anniversary.
See there are a lot of holiday competitions going at the moment. Would be great to win one.
Any word from Alfie Blue haven't heard anything for awhile.
Picked up my parcel from the Sorting Office today it was my After Eights. I starting eating them a couple of hours ago and am feeling sickish (chocolate overload) as I was cutting down on sweet stuff the last two weeks. Will hide the rest away until later in the week. Even just opening the lid of the box, the chocolates are overpowering.
Weather here good today but still quite chilly.

Glad you finally got your after eights Dreams :drool: I would have eaten them all in one day too! I haven't heard anything from Alfie either but hope she is ok. Maybe she is busy in the garden as she is always keeping herself busy!

Sheils, glad your son is home ok, that must have been a relief to you! Good luck for his job seeking and hope your DD gets her grades she needs too. I always put warm baby oil in my DD's ears too when she gets earache. Hope DH is better soon xx

I didn't get much sleep last night either fire**fly! It was hubby hogging my pillows that kept me awake then I kept thinking I was going to sleep in for kids! Give me howling foxes any day!

to empty some of the rainwater out the barrel onto the flower borders & out popped a frog :rotfl::eek:

Why are there so many duplicates on the comp board today - at least 3 of the same to win a freesat, that bloody meatball dvd, parks and recreation. Had too look twice as i thought i was pressing the wrong buttons
