Wooo it has been a dry day today but sooooooo windy and cold! We went down on the beach and almost got blown away! :eek:

hope all is well,I am fine today went to my parents for lunch,it was nice,realised it was their wedding anniversary tomorrow and had no card,so mum gave me a notelet to use as a card and I felt better gave them some money to get a meal tomorrow on me

Not out tonight as I will be watching The Musketeers tonight as its back on on BBC1 at 9pm after Call the Midwive

Gosh it's sooo windy today! And I don't just mean the kids Kentucky f@rts either! Glad to say the washing I left on line yesterday was still there this morning though!

Even though I haven't been on here much over the half term, with the kids being off, I still read through all your posts - so well done on your wins!

With regard to people sharing that awful video on Facebook (the one with the Spanish lady), I haven't seen that one shared but I have seen a few of my friends sharing lots of photos of abused dogs lately and I hate them! As a dog lover and owner, I feel I have to keep hiding them from my timeline because they are so awful! To be honest, I don't know what good people think it will do by sharing them on Facebook. We all know abuse happens to animals, babies, children, wives, husbands etc but drawing attention to it isn't really going to make it stop. I just find them upsetting too look at and sometime my kids hover behind me or my youngest sits on my knee for a cuddle and I would hate for them to see them. I am all against abuse and would love it to stop but I won't share these awful pics on my page! Grumble over

Yes Katie - happy anni to your parents tomorrow and don't feel bad about almost forgetting their anni as it is probably the one date of the year I most forget too and I am sure they will enjoy a nice meal out on you too ! I think my parents must have been married for about 42 year this year ! Not bad - I certainly haven't taken after them lol! I was engaged for 4 years then broke it off and swore NEVER AGAIN!

Some great pics on here tonight again. Especially love the pink elephant Bella.
DD only had 3 days off so has been back to school already. She is having some Prelims though and having to pick subjects. She wants to be a midwife so is looking at what she needs for a nursing course first. She needs 3 or 4 Highers with English and Biology so will be difficult for her I think. She already has the other O'Grades she needs as she sat them early last year.

Lovely present for your parents Katie. Must hint at some of my kids.

Can you send me the sun and a WEM too please wingo. Good luck with the bingo. x
