    Afternoon
I'm loving this weather today. So nice to see the sun and it's not cold either. I went to a boot sale this morning, had a huge cooked breakfast when I was there then had to come home and have a nap for a couple of hours..lol.

Sounds like everyone is having a good day. We had a lovely walk by The River Cree in Newton Stewart and I finished up carrying my coat, scarf and gloves and rolling my sleeves up! River was highest I have ever seen it though and flowing really fast.
Got loads of shopping although didn't have any vouchers only had Nectar points to spend. Still that was £11.25 off at Sainsburys. Stocked up on some Aldi stuff as don't go there often.
Hope this is spring in the air now - some great cheerful pics today!

ellemm, glad to hear you are feeling better :)

lomaxsylvia, sounds like you had a lovely time at the garden centre! I love walking around garden centres too and then finish off with a nice latte! I love this time of year when all the Spring bulbs are starting to peep through - and hopefully not long until we see pink blossom trees!

Hope you have enjoyed your day too fire**fly and yes, we did have a nice time at my parents! My mum is a wonderful cook - everything is always homemade from scratch and her beef roast dinner today was a real treat after our long walk on the beach. The sun is still shining now and there is not a single cloud in the sky but the temperature is starting to fall so I'm settling down to relax now with a nice cup of coffee!

indie - ooh a boot sale! Haven't been to one of those in ages - did you see any bargain?

Your walk sounds lovely Sheils - I too had to strip off my scarf and gloves on the beach this morning as I actually felt hot! :D In fact, the sun was so bright I wished I'd taken my sunglasses!

No bargains for me.I got my son some books about the WW2 as he is reading that kind of thing at the moment and a couple of bags of fruit and veg. To be honest there wasn't that many stalls only around about 100 (there is usually hundreds and it takes a good 4-5 hours to look round properly) but it's held on a schools playing fields and is too wet to park up there but I did enjoy getting out for a couple of hours.

Nothing worse that walking on soggy ground! I think it is going to take a long while for the country to dry out after all the rain we've had! :( At least you got a few things though and some fresh air!! We should all sleep well tonight! :j

Yes Fire**fly, my mam's dinners are so nice! :) It is amazing how the sun can put a smile on people's faces! When it is raining or cold, people just rush past you with their scarves wrapped round their faces or they hide under their umbrellas but on days like today everyone seems to be smiling!

Your little herb garden sounds lovely! I grow mint and sage just in little pots! :) Tastes so much nicer to eat home made mint sauce or sage and onion stuffing!
