It doesn't bear thinking of having your house sitting in water and no end in sight.

DD is away out to see her boyfriend as he had to do work experience today so wasn't at school. She had been feeling a bit neglected as she hadn't had her card or anything! He is supposed to be taking her out for the day tomorrow although not sure how as he only as a tractor licence :rotfl:If he really does take her to Carlisle or Glasgow he will be in for a shock as shopping with her is a nightmare.

Ahh bless - I do hope your daughter's boyfriend has got her a card or a little surprise for Valentine's day! He cannot use the excuse that he has been on work experience today - he has had weeks to buy her something! :eek: Weird how you can have a tractor licence but not a car? :eek: Never knew that! :eek:

Hope you've all had a lovely valentines day My DD2 drew me a lovely card! DH got me one too which I was surprised at! I got a present from one of the kids at school too....the contents of his nose which he very kindly decided to stick in my mouth catching me unaware! (Yuk!)

Yeah ours broke up today. On a school night I have a job getting them off Xbox or iPod and now they've broke up they would rather sit around me being noisy instead of going on their games! Can't win! I expect they will be up at the crack of dawn tomorrow too!
