Feeling a bit niffed. Eldest GD was coming so said we would get a chicken and do her a chicken dinner with roast and yorkshires etc and guess what she never came. My DD forgot to ring and tell me she was going to her boyfriends Grandma's for tea. Oh well nice dinner for us I suppose.
Hope you have all had a good day.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Aw Sylvia, can you not wrap her one up and put in the fridge? Maybe she might come tomorrow?
It's really cold now here and hubby is making it worse by deciding to mess around with French doors and leaving them open! No snow yet though although I think we had sleet earlier this morning.
Thanks for link to clickies fire**fly :A I always forget to do them so will try and get some done.
As far as I've heard from incident this morning there's one man with serious head injuries but unsure why. There's always rumours/speculations on things but don't always turn out to be true.

Hi Wingo - she won't come now until next week as its the only day she has the same books for Tue/Wed and he bag weighs a ton as it is. Had got some fresh choc chip cookies from Sainsbury's so gave them to the family across the road as they soon go out of date. We enjoyed our tea though I must say. No snow for us yet but DD had it in the village she live in about 8 miles from us.
firefly - we like the tinned salmon, it makes a lovely salad or sandwich. Nice with jacket spud as well.
Hi Nellie nice to see you back. Its hard sometimes to post in here when life gets tough. Big hugs for you.
Have a nice evening everyone.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0 -
Hope everyone is OK - have been trying to keep up with your news.
Was quite glad to be coming home today as kept seeing snow warnings. Saw a covering of snow in one high part of our journey home and that was it though. Saw 3 snow ploughs sitting in laybys waiting for action!
Really windy here though so wouldn't like someone messing with doors wingo.
Know what you mean about school bags weighing a ton Sylvia -I can hardly lift DD's one sometimes.
Hope you enjoyed your salmon and jacket spud FF. We had tuna pasta.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Glad you are back safe and sound Sheils and hope you have enjoyed your trip. I think its bad all the weight they have to carry around all day at school. Think my GD is a year behind yours as she is 15 in July.
It has tried to snow here this evening but nothing to talk about.BIG THANKS TO ALL WHO POST THE COMPETITIONS0
