Where to advertise

Hey

Just after a bit of advice. My step dad has gone freelance as a general builder and handyman and after some advice on where to advertise?

Gumtree seems popular. Any other ideas?

    Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker
    Leaflets through the doors
    Local paper or local magazine
    Have posters printed and put in shop windows
    Do some community work for free and get publicity
    Offer a competition to a local radio station to have a small amount of work done for free
    Word of mouth is the best recommendation
    Give out business cards when work is done
    The mind is like a parachute. It doesn’t work unless it’s open.:o

    A winner listens, a loser just waits until it is their turn to talk:)
