    You're right, I've updated my post. I certainly wouldn't recommend buying a Haswell system on the assumption it will definitely work with Broadwell.

    your CPU is still pretty up there on spec, i cant see a GPU upgrade causing any problems for you.
    I think you will be spending a lot of money for very little gain! this is a money saving site you know :-)

    have the same sickness though very thifty in other things


    ...... my trouble is I was too tight to buy an i7 at the time, everything else is top end



    have searched the world over for sites that exchange your I5 for an I7 and you only pay the difference. Tell me if you're selling the I7, maybe we can make a deal....

    but they will change it, they're intel, they always change it..... some of the cynics in the tech industry even think it might be to do with money and locking you into a product apple style.....
