Thanks button gone weird

Anyone else? When I click on the Thanks button (just in the last half hour) up pops a box full of gobbledegook coding of some sort, which seems to include the names of those posters who have already thanked the post. I click OK on it and it disappears, but my Thanks is not registered on the post. However if I Refresh screen, there it is. Very odd.
Happened several times, even after I closed the website and re-opened it.
