Trouble finding a bed which fits up Staircase

Hi guys and girls.
Moving into a old terraced house a couple of months ago and I'm having great trouble finding a Kingsize frame which will fit up my staircase. The staircase is at a 90 degree angle with a airing cupboard above it.
Does anyone know of 3 part divan that I could get? or any suggestions which may help?
Thanks

how big are the upstairs windows?

Depending on how big your windows are you could have them taken out to allow the bed to go in and then put back (my parents had to have the patio doors removed to get the sofa in!Everything has its beauty but not everyone sees it.0

What about the wooden bed frames - ours dismantles into head board, foot board, two side rails and then the planks for the bed "base". You might have to be careful how big the headboard is but if its really that tight then I think you'd struggle getting a king size mattress up there as well.Adventure before Dementia!0

If you speak to an independent bed retailer, they may have a supplier that can make a divan base in 4 pieces for you.Helping the country to sleep better....ZZZzzzzzzz0

Many king-size doubles I've seen (probably at the higher quality end) come as two independent singles, which are then bolted together.0

Does it have to be a divan bed?
I'm assuming you want Divan due to the storage? What about a normal wooden frame bed with underbed storage that is flat packed?
I have a strangely configured set of stairs too which made moving my kingsize bed a nightmare. But I collapsed it down fully and rebuilt it in the bedroom. Moving the mattress was tiring, lots of squeezing and puching & pulling but got there in the end.0 -
Thanks all for reply.
It doesn't have to be a Divan no but my worry with flat-pack beds are that they seem far lower to the ground which I do not like.
Having a look again the airing cupboard isn't the problem its more of the depth of the angle and stairs. Iv'e took a photo to show what I mean. (I'm decorating, have only moved in)

We had the same problem - there is no option but to buy a bed that can be taken upstairs in parts and assembled there - wood or metal with slats it will have to be. I think you will find the mattress will bend enough to get it around the corner.0

Just to get me off the floor for now, I would be quite happy to buy this bed from argos http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/6940834.htm#pdpFullProductInformation
height of the headboard for the Living Nicholas Double Bed Frame is 102cm.
Should be to much of a problem?

Could you not get something like this; lots of storage underneath too
