I booked 2 tickets on this website to travel today up to London. Greater Anglia have said their services are partial and disrupted. I have a disability and decided against going as I did not wish to be vulnerable and stranded at the station tonight. I rang their customer services who told me I would receive a refund less £10 admin charge (over half the fare). Greater Anglia are giving full refunds for loss of service today. When I checked their terms and conditions it said I could receive a full refund for disrupted and cancelled services if I wrote in. I went back to the customer services operator and asked why I was not told this and she said had no knowledge of this term and condition and as far as she was concerned it was only major disruption that would give one a full refund. This is not what they say at all and I am very unhappy to be treated this way as I feel they would have been happy to deduct the £10 had I not checked the terms. When I said I wouldn't be using them again the operator called Jo said "ok goodbye". Lovely :T

Want other people to know their tricks as Greater Anglia operative said she is sick of getting complaints from passengers about their reluctance to give refunds and overall service issues.
