Happy Christmas everyone.Son called today,went away with 4 huge hampers for his family.Then I called to DD tonight with the same.Just like last year they are thrilled to bits.Had 1 or 2 G&Ts so am feeling a teeny weeny bit light headed but want to thank you all for all the help in getting these.So THANK YOU EVERYONE and love to all.Off to bed now feeling well pleased with myself and everybody else.

wondering randomly if Mildred's OH made it back for Christmas........hope so

and just wrapped OHs pressie up (we both know what it is, the wrapping is for the kids benefit) it's a fishing rod that arrived in a 6ft long tube. I hid it under DS2s bed and he hasn't noticed it. I got it out and he said......'we're giving him a giant tube for Christmas......' :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: only took 2 rolls of 14p and very green paper though :money::money:

Ive took a torch out and had a look, it is a small bump. BUT it's the second small bump he's put on my silver dream machine! Luckily he never bumped anyone else. I'm putting on the back burner for the time being......it can wait. But he knows I'll deal with him in due course, and that look is enough for me :rotfl::rotfl:

She seems convinced it needs to cook a bit longer though, or maybe that's wishful thinking. I may text her in the morning

We got DS3 a fishing rod year before last. I got a shock when I saw the size :eek: of the tube . Ended up putting it up in the rafters of the garage :rotfl: :rotfl: So funny as he and his band would sometimes practice in there and no one noticed it :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
