I just renewed my central heating cover with home energy limited. (was eon)
no offer price as I was existing customer, they wanted £17.50 per month :eek: for covering complete system, no limit to call outs and no excess fee.
after saying I was not happy with price as id seen a few £15 on internet and one was £12.50.
they new each company I was on about.
then I played my trump card saying would they honour their offer price on internet for NEW customers at £9.98, he was very reluctant to do this. so I said TO HIM, well ive got 3 choices. 1 move else where. 2 let contract run out and start again with them, 3 get wife to get cover with them.
I was very pleasant throughout the conversation. he then said I don't want to mess you around, ill let you have our new customer offer.
they are good with their call outs to. as I called them out, and they fixed heating for me yesterday.
this is a very very good price peeps, no call out fee, no excess, complete system covered. also annual service.
I hope this has helped someone else.

edit, ps. i would have paid the original price as well. as a lot of companies don't like to cover a boiler over 7 years old unless there are strings attached.

only till 12th jan.
you got to pay p&p but that aint much with snapfish

Have they been in care at all? Just that a friend of mine has been informed that the 3 girls they adopted, because they were in care for a while and classed as vulnerable at that time, are entitled to free school meals, free excursions, a grant for uniform, and when they get to the next school they will receive money for books etc. Do not know whether they have to be adopted but fantastic news for her.

Thanks, she has not been taking her tablets and been hiding them, when she doesn't take them she becomes very forgetful and very nasty as she doesn't remember you coming and then thinks she has been left on her own which results in her saying really hurtful stuff, but then after a few days back on the tablets I have my nan back again bloody hard though
