Well, first day back over with and it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be :) doesn't mean I like being there though :(

Picked up some of the co-ops booklets this morning with the £2 off when you spend £10 vouchers. I might just check those in my local co-op on my way home lol. They hate taking stuff from me in there so god know how they'll be with a voucher from their own magazine!

A flying visit from me again before work :(
Didn't get a chance to say thanx for all the advice about cooking gammon (and buying a slow cooker :) ) I think I tried to poison DH as I didn't realise my gammon had plastic around the outside?!?
I'm really no Jamie Oliver :rotfl:

:rotfl: you're not on your own there dipdap:rotfl: when mr monkey and I first moved in together I was trying to impress him with my cooking skills and I too didn't know there was a plastic wrapper:eek:
It's still one he reminds me of now and again:o

I have had a very productive day:Ta good reckie of what I have bought in the sales and with my Christmas pressies am pleased to say my perfume stock is fully replenished. Also have this years Birthday pressies for all my special Widowed friends in my group 18 to be precis and a few nice new jumpers which enabled me to get rid of a few that had seen better days;)
Cooked another piece of gammon in oven with a glace and breadcrumbs one of T's finest which was down to £3-50 they are so handy to have in the fridge for a quick dinner or sarnie.
Off out tonight (dont feel much like going out in this weather) but have my monthly widowed meeting so have popped a box of chocs in my bag to share to save Nannylal eating them all:eek:

    Afternoon all,

No batteries or charges in my Tosco today but did get this for £5 DGS2 birthday sorted

Also picked up some number candles @ 25p each for this years birthdays
Best of all was a lovely £17.18 DTD on a finest meal - the selection on the shelves had a £7.99 wine "Toro" "Vinas del Rey", which is not part of the meal deal although this one was plentiful and in the middle of those that were.

I've seen the candles in a few stores. Still haven't found a 4 or a 6  :rotfl:

Also little mermaid party plates, napkins and tablecovers are being sold off for 25p. I know what the theme of DDs 3rd birthday will be ;)
Apparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen

Hope those of you that returned to work/uni, etc had a reasonable day.

I find Christmas and New Year rather difficult, so have been keeping a low profile.
Just been for 4 monthly Botox Injections in my leg and some work at the Dentist. So that's all the appointments for this week sorted, I hope.

Love the new baby pictures - congratulations on the arrivals:)

You seem very organised and appear to be very content with your groups, outings and family plus I read that you got a free meal. Well done.
Enjoy your evening out and take care:)
