I've been converting them into Avios as soon as I can. Except this last year wher I got behind. I managed to convert a whole load of them on what turned out to be the very last day possible before they would be lost! .:dance:0

It is either rising or penetrative damp, or surface mould.

Morning all, still catching up. :rotfl:Lutzi1 - hope work went alright on Friday... I was thinking of you.
Thank you sweetie, office mildly trashed, a bit of a riot, but no-one stole our handbags, broke into our cars or punched anybody, so probably a result. You have a bit of a rest after all the Christmas festivities. :A
Heads up I was delighted to see that the second series of Father Brown is starting this week, every day at 2.15pm on BBC1 for two weeks. The first series last year was truly excellent, I think you enjoyed it too Snap? What on earth the Beeb are doing showing this during the day I have no idea, it's got peak Sunday evening viewing written all over it.
Have a good day all whatever you are up to, and a hug to Scamps. xHope is not a strategy.0 -

Looks like he has a cabinet/wardrobe up against this wall, so mildew probably due to no ventilation around back and cabinet pushed right up against wall.
We could see the breeze blocks in one room in our old house never thought it was a problem,we sold in June and nothing come up on the survey with regards to it.

Humans and dogs are the main culprits for making moisture, with breathing, panting, drying washing inside either on a rack or a dryer all that water has to go somewhere.
Especially on an outside wall which is colder than internal.
Clean the wall(you can prob find a solution on the old style thread and do it cheaply) and then heat and ventilate it and pull furniture away from the walls a bit.0 -
