Coats shoes bags on the floor I used to hang them up and booger me same ones would be on the floor day after. I did wonder why they didn't take them home. When long hols came all clothes bags shoes went into black bags most had been there since September year before. Money found anywhere in the school was handed in with place it was found.

I still wonder why kids sat under the tables to sharpen their pencils/crayons. Cleaner in a school is not a job I would recommend to anyone.

I always think that schools would be nice places to work if it was not for the kids and the heads!!

Or clean at a college or a rented students house:eek::eek::eek::eek: done both, the students house was a share and my sister could have got a contract out of it but when the is poo in the shower and all up the walls , no thankyou

Hi all: New Year's resolution: Post more even if I don't think I've got anything useful to contribute Hope I haven't missed too many glitches.
Just got back from a fantastic New Year 2 day break MSE style for family of 4:
Overnight stay at 5* Metropolitan Hotel, Park Lane, panoramic views over Hyde Park - £18 per room (Grabbit glitch)
Transport: All day hop-on/hop off Thames River boat cruise completely free thanks to Travelzoo offer and code via Grabbit
Meals - 2 course set lunch at Bank Restaurant (mostly paid for with 2 x Club-Individual cards which came pre-loaded with £20 each, thanks to Freebies board)
Train travel to London - almost free thanks to Redspottedhanky codes accumulated during the year (MSE newsletters).
Dinner at 5-Star Hilton Hotel (paid for using BuyaGift vouchers originally bought when a different offer was half price and combined with a code (via codes board), but almost due to expire so exchanged for 4 meals with wine at Hilton (added £10 cash)
Extra drinks/sandwiches etc picked up at Tesco Express using £40 moneycard sent to me after Tesco messed up their pre-Xmas clubcard promotion (I only emailed them about it after seeing a thread on the Food board).
Amazing 2 days in London, would not have been possible without MSE - You've gotta love it when a plan comes together :beer::beer:

OMG, you are braver than me.

When I go to see DS2 I used to wash the dishes.. it took hours!

When they were in Halls, they had a cleaner. They used to buy her flowers/chocolates on a monthly basis as she was lovely to them.

Now they are in private rented I do not wash or clean, but I did drop OH off to help him pack! Hilarious!!

No thanks think my cleaning job days are over . I can imagine rented students houses :eek::eek::eek:

every parent meeting there a argument about it it get quite heated at times

not helped by the awfull headteacher hes newish and is all about power n dosnt listen to the parents

my dd class and the next clas havent got a coat peg or any thing(they hopefully will after the holiday ) it goes on the floor in school foyer :eek:(dd takes it to class since last one was riped apart and her lunch started going missing her fruit money was being stolen from her coat as well as half the classes shes 5 and it broke her heart that some one would take her money she was worried she had lost it

My DDs school not to bad with packed lunches but do know that the chocolate cakes have veg in them the brownies have carrot courgette and beetroot in it
