Mmmmm, nice:)
How about we get this party started with something a bit more up-tempo - a hard-bop jazz classic from 1969 ... 'Afreaka' by Lee Morgan

I have decided in place of a glitchy DSLR () I'm gonna get him 65 different presents, but I'm a bit stuck for ideas on what the 65 should be
Do the elite have any fantastic ideas please?
I got him wine and stuff for Christmas so don't want to duplicate myself.
It goes without saying that it needs to be at elite prices too
My Dad bought this book recently and seems to be enjoying it: http://www.amazon.co.uk/1950s-Childhood-Baths-Bread-Dripping/dp/0752450115/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1388785061&sr=8-2&keywords=my+1950%27s+childhood my Mum nearly fell over when she saw him reading the book she said it's only the second book shes ever seen my Dad read in the 40+ years or marriage :rotfl:0 -

What about things that will bring back memories from his 65 years x100 -
Does anyone remember a Top Gear special in Switzerland when they wouldn't dare say the name of the museum they were in "Kunstmuseum"
Actually the museum is in Liechtenstein, its a beautiful country. If someone taught them how to say it properly they wouldnt have looked like pricks though :P0 -

Stuff from the year he was born
Something relating to the place he was born
Items reminding him of you and your siblings
His favourite foods
A photo album
All of his favourite books on a kindle? ( I hate the things personally )
Warm socks and slippers
New hat and scarf
Hope that's helpful. That's a lovely idea.Debt free 6th December 2014

I have caught up.... I may begin to make sense - but then again - that is unlikely!
Trying to have a weekend of not working... but there is nothing on the telly!
Tomorrow I actually need to go shopping... pizza from A.... have I missed out on anything else?
Frequent, good to see you back x
If anyone wants to lend me a grandchild for the weekend... it would be lovely!100
