    morning nutters:D:D

just sitting here with an empty ice cream tub waiting for a mouse to come out from behind TV.....as you do :D

it could be a long day!

I so read that as 'mousse' and it was as in a pot of mousse not the animal! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    Good morning one and all:D
    Can I ask a question... Pretty please:D
Having read many times about gammon in coke, would really like to know what it really tastes like:D:D
So... I have a slow cooker, I have a gammon joint and I have coke!
What do I do now? And if I put it in the slow cooker, will it be ready for tea time? (About 5pm in this house)

    Thanking you muchly xx

Speaking of slow cookers, I splurged on the TSV in red, I have a steamer but I hardly use it because my kitchen is teeny and actually using it is annoying, it takes up so much space afterwards in the sink or dishwasher with all the bits you have to clean that I hardly use it, so this should be brill!

I like the idea of a pressure cooker too, my mum had one of those ultra-heavy prestige ones (70s/80s), I was always a bit scared of it as it always seemed near to exploding, but the food was lush!

We are already very close to the bank of the usk less than 200ft but it didn't breach the bank this side. Seems to have been pretty round by the old Sainsburys near town and in Caerleon. I was awake most of the night worrying, not looking forward to this evening when tide is up again.

Hope you and anyone else near flooding stays nice and dry, I am lucky in that I've always lived so far inland that I only need worry about bins flying about!

I came home in tears because the owner/manager of the pub where the gig was happening spoke to me so incredibly rudely within five minutes of me arriving. It put a dampner on the whole evening and I couldn't enjoy myself after that so I left before the end of the set. It's quite something to make someone feel that unwelcome before they've even taken their coat off and it's safe to say I'll never be returning.

Why on earth was he being like this to you? Why would a manager need to come and speak to someone anyway, were you there other than as a normal customer?

Either way he sounds like a twit (replace letter at will), hope you had a lovely day shopping xx
me to hun but dnt worry to much as he wasnt hit and it was his fault if he was :o im sure he knows not to step out from behind a van/car:mad:

my 5 year old dd has amazing road sense better than me:o so im sure an adult can

also if he had started t eff n blind at me i would have beeped even more at him and given him few choice words :o (proving no kids with me;) other wise just the horn

Why do people always F and blind at you when it's their fault? It's so ridiculous.

On a funnier note, I was driving up the hill from my house earlier and just behind my neighbours land rover (which was parked facing up the hill), I had to slam my brakes on because this grey thing FLEW out in front of me from nowhere.

It was the exhaust fumes. He'd just started the engine.

    Hey logie,
Avon is ok, the Christmas period is horrible to work over. It's completely impractical to deliver catalogues to 126 houses though in a week though. Half the stuff ordered doesn't get delivered so I'm letting people down. I'm gonna persiviere with it though. I hate to give up on anything lol. I'll give it 6 months and then re assess.
    How's you?

I was going to do Avon but was put off by the area rep woman. I signed up online and from what it said, I was expecting an e-mail or post package explaining about it. Instead this woman turns up unannounced on my doorstep and clearly expected to be welcomed in despite her having made no appointment and me standing there in my PJs!

I fobbed her off to get her to go away but then she kept ringing and texting me, bombarding me to 'encourage' me to join :eek::eek: I ignored her since all she was doing was making me want to run away screaming, then she turned up at my house AGAIN! I can't imagine what she'd be like as a boss so I just fobbed her off again, I HATE being put on the spot and she KEPT doing it!

I am considering becoming a rep still but once the weather's nicer and certainly not with her! :rotfl:
Yes I love this name. We used to have soo many odds and sods that we had 2 man drawers to fit it all in, however my BF decided to leave me 6 days before christmas so I have now cleared the man drawers and I can see drawer!!!! So now they are my woman drawers (which sounds a little odd).

I call mine the 'man drawer' despite me being female and the only one here, I can't call it a 'woman drawer', that sounds like where you keep either tampax or battery operated toys! :rotfl:
