Can I ask a question... Pretty please:D
Having read many times about gammon in coke, would really like to know what it really tastes like:D:D
So... I have a slow cooker, I have a gammon joint and I have coke!
What do I do now? And if I put it in the slow cooker, will it be ready for tea time? (About 5pm in this house)
Thanking you muchly xx
I had gammon in coke yesterday and it was amazing.
I half filled the slow cooker with coke, and cooked it for about 5 1/2 hours. I turned the meat a couple of times as well just so both sides had been submerged. The gammon will be really tender and literally just melts in your mouth. The flavour is lush. Bit late now but I hope you've had a go at it. I'm defo making it again.streetlights wrote: »Hi I also cover my gammon joints with coke completely and I have never had problem with the meat being dry. I cook mine for about 6 hours. I pull the fat off, glaze with honey and mustard and put it in a hot oven for 10 mins to cook the glaze.
Ooooh, that finishing touch sounds good. I'm so doing this next time xTeentinyshoes born 2.14am this morning. Mum and beautiful baby girl are doing fine.

Afternoon everyone.
Congrats Tinyshoes on the new arrival.
Back last summer we enjoyed a little glitch on the Gillette Venus/olay razor with shower holder. I think they were in the 3 for £10 in Asda but glitched because they were half price elsewhere. I remember buying Aussie conditioner.
Now they are back in the 3 for £10 in Asda and also half price in Sainsbobs.
Now i don't understand the signed in and out of MSL and items showing so maybe some greater mind could help out. I still have some of the conditioner so could look when i get home, but i think it was the Aussie leave in.
Hope you don't mind me asking0 -

Can I have a moan please??
I've just come back from a job interview and to be honest it was probably a complete waste of my time. I applied for a customer sales advisor role for 20 hours a week. What should have been a 3 hour interview was done and dusted in half hour as the manager wasn't available. The debuty manager informs me that he's really happy with how the interview went and that I'm the only person who passed the telephone interview. However the position they want filling isn't really suitable for me and then tells me that unless he rejiggled the shop staff around then as much as he would like to employ me there isn't a position available for me.
Why the beeping hell wasn't the correct job advertised them?
Why wasn't this explained in the telephone interview?
It's so frustrating :(Life is not about learning to avoid the storms - it's about learning to dance in the rain.0 -

I had a similar crap experience, prepared for over a week, had 2 people watch me teach then a managent task and full panel interview then they employed someone who had previously had the position but left and wanted to come back. Wasn't gutted about the job tbh but the underhandedness of it and the waste of my time made me a bit
I hope something else comes up for you xxx0
